"All this in a tabletop unit!?"
Talk to an EngineerWe like to pack a lot of punch in our machines, but sometimes we get asked to do something nuts. Invent Automation rose to the challenge for this special leak tester, which is truly a modern marvel of automation. This single machine performs no less than seven leak and flow tests, detecting leaks as small as 1 sccm. That’s about the size of one eraser tip full of air leakage every minute.
How did we do it? Invent Automation is comprised of a great team of engineers who really know how to think outside the box. The word 'can’t' is just not in our vocabulary. With a focus on keeping the end in mind and a deep knowledge of the art and science of leak detection, we were able to pull it off for our client in record time.
So many tests in such a small package, check!
We are always excited to get to use Swagelok’s pneumatically controlled switching valves.
Directing air across multiple flow paths without leaks takes specialized process gas components that don’t leak. A deep knowledge of leak testers and machine design is required to make something like this happen.
Getting the proper leak-free interface with the product is always something to carefully examine and adjust.
